Do all the implants have to come from that doctor?

Well, if you mean that you can only get them at the Vegas Hospital (aka, Usangi), then yes.

Unless you count Fisto as an implant.

Of course that one isn't permanent.

sub-dermal implant is great and whichever attributes you want to boost. I think there is a trick to lower the price for the SPECIAL implants, if you take some kind of chem that reduces the attribute below 2 or 3, then the cost is only 3,000 caps because the doctor says something like, "You really need this one."

the monocyte breeder implant is a complete waste of caps and an implant slot. the regen rate is extremely low and not useful in combat at all, unlike the Rad Child perk which is very useful in combat. (Monocyte Breeder only provides +1HP every ten seconds and the Rad Child perk provides +6HP/sec or +8HP/sec if you stay at critical or deadly rad poisoning.

Depends on how you built your character at the beginning through S.P.E.C.I.A.L. and how you want to build him/her going forward. The first implant I bought was for endurance as I left that at 5 at the start of the character (for HP boost primarily). Since then, I've bought an agility implant to negate the penalty of wearing power armor and a luck implant for all of the benefits that could give. 4000 caps may sound steep, but as you advance caps will become more available....unless you're not selling looted weapons, items, etc.

I would say "Luck" first, unless your luck is really low to begin with then it may not matter... but I started out with a 6 for luck, I then bought the sixy Sleepwear from Mick and Ralphs (gave me +1 luck) and used the 4000 caps I had to buy another Luck implant. That brought me to 8... then I went and cleaned out the Casinos and bought the rest of the implants I wanted.

Keep in mind that you can only get as many implants as your starting Endurance allows (if your Endurance is 6, you can get 6 of them). You can't get an extra one by getting the Endurance implant, though if you use the perk that gives you an extra Special, and add it to Endurance, you can get an extra implant I believe.

I'm pretty high up there, the reason I dont have lots of caps is mainly being forced to pay like 1,000-4,000 caps to repair some of my guns, but when i get jury rigging that will help alot. ammo costs a bit too.

I'm thinkin maybe....luck? I can buy the sixy sleepwear, I'll check for any other luck boosters, and I could definitely use an edge for the casinos.
