Ok, so i was thinking, wouldn't it be awesome to see a skeleton-type dragon in a deserted ruin or tomb? I mean something like this ---> http://www.templates.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/dragon_skeleton_by_ahyicodae.jpg

WOuld be nice but it seems the dragons in this game disolve away to nothing after bening killed. I dont know what happens to them if they die a 'natural' death.

It would be kool but we'd have to check the council of lore experts to see if thats even possible in the elder scrolls...i mean human skeletons are easy to ressurect cuz there such weak creatures in elder scrolls but dragons??? Idk.....

I don't know how I feel about the idea but it should be possible. Why couldn't a powerful enough necromancer raise a dragon corpse to do his/her bidding?

He would be more like an undead boss guarding some ancient treasure in a cave. Not likely to happen though.

http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Dracolich? I doubt its in the lore, but it would be very cool and a fun boss battle.

That could be an end quest for a necromancer or mages guild quest. :).

I agree it would certainly have to be an end game sort of encounter. A powerful necro with his own undead attack dragon? How could it not be an epic battle?

I like the idea of there being a distinct difference between the dragons of skyrim's past and these dragons that are attacking now, and a "skeleton dragon" being one of the past dragons that was wronged. I have a sneaking suspicion that there will be "good" and "bad" dragons, and while these "bad "Dragons are the ones that melt away essentially, perhaps past dragons weren't the same? I dunno, I'm tired >.>

A fully-skeletal dragon? That'd be a nightmare for hit detection, which can already be a little wonky sometimes. But a dragon with a similar design to draugr would be fine.

Guys guys guys!
Remember how there's a Dragonshout that calls in a dragon ally? Imagine if your dragon was fighting the Necromancer's dragon while you had a magical duel with the Necromancer!
I hope there's at least one part of the game in which you can witness two dragons fight.

Hmmm, since I roleplay as a necromancer sometimes (with mods) I'd love to re-animate a dragon after absorbing its soul. Then I could destroy Alduin, and end this Kalpa myself! Muahahahahahahahahahaha *ahem* *cough* Phew. Evil laughing hurts my lungs, their too full of maggots. *pulls hood back on and dissapears in shadows*
