Considering that every single other store/site/magazine with "something big" about Skyrim hyped having "something big about Skyrim" and not just "something big," I'd say the most likely answer is that it's got nothing whatsoever to do with Skyrim.

Man, I waited almost three hours for that timer to hit zero and the announcement wasn't even interesting! I can't go to Australia... What a letdown.
