So i told Boone to wait for me at the lucky 38 and when i went to find him there he was nowhere to be found, i looked in every room on every floor and nothing, is this a glitch?

No, more then likely it's just he hasn't gotten there yet. When you tell your follower to wait for you at the Lucky 38, they walk there so depending on where you were at when you told him, it might take him a while to get there. I've told Lily to wait for me there while we were in Goodsprings and I ran to Vault 11 to wander around and an hour later I fast traveled to Freeside and she was walking past the Crier for Mick and Ralph's.

If I decide I wanna tell a follower to wait for me at the Lucky 38, I fast travel to the strip and go in and fire them there. Saves time waiting for them to get there when you wanna rehire them back.

They can also die during this walking/non-companion times, if you stay too close to the area after firing them, from a fight they encounter on the way, even in non-hardcoe mode. But it's fairly rare-I only mention it because it's another reason to fire them close to their 'home' or the 38. In your case it's most likely that he hasn't arrived yet, like already mentioned. Does take them a long time sometimes.

I think it might be a glitch. In one of my playthroughs when I'd just gotten into the Strip, when I went up to the Lucky 38 for the first time and after both my companions (Lily and Rex) were waiting right outside, so I sent both of them to wait in the casino and waited an hour, and no one was there. They were literally right where I told them to wait. They never showed up. Glitch?

Thanks guys, its because he didnt arrive yet im guessing, i dissmissed him at the mojave outpost, lol, but ill dismiss them on the strip from now on :thumbsup:
