No More Loading?

I heard a rumor about a new type of cell loading that loads cells as they are needed or something like that? Anybody know anything?

99,99% no. There was even a twitter before saying "Insides are insides, outsides are outsides" or something like that. Expect loading screens when entering cities, when entering any building and probably also when entering any dungeon.

To have no loading screens, we'd probably need to utilize a single thread for the sole purpose of streaming the background resources. This how Witcher 2 eliminated loading screens (from ~700 loading screens in Witcher 1 to now 4 loading screens in Witcher 2). Not sure but I also think this is how Just Cause 2 did it.

I don't know if you can particularly use Just Cause 2 as an example because there are no interiors but I guess it is open cities.

Which is exactly the way that Oblivion and Fallout 3 worked.

There are four threads on the same page made by you so far, each with just 1/2 lines of text.
Couldn't you have just made one instead?
