Are you replaying after TESV news?

I knew Bethesda had to be working on ES:V. After they released FO:3, and then FO:NV was announced and that Obsidian was doing it... I thought to myself "If Bethesda isn't doing the new Fallout... then what are they doing?" I concluded that it must be the new Elder Scrolls - and I am happy that I was correct. I am super pumped up about this. I hope that they have taken notes on what worked well and what didn't with Oblivion. Oblivion was a great a game - but I felt that it was lacking in certain aspects when compared to Morrowind. Particularly the story, and mission design.

I've owned Oblivion since it was released for PC, and I have never completed it. The farthest I've been in the MQ is Kvatch, and that's it. I do plan on actually beating the MQ before Skyrim releases. However, currently I am playing through the Nehrim mod. The mod is amazing, it's a whole new game. It definitely breathes new life into Oblivion and should hold me over until Skyrim.

Hrol has a terrible bounty on his head in Cyrodil. I think I will preorder TES V so he can get out of Cyrodil ASAP and try to make a new life for himself in Skyrim. :D He isn't even welcome in Elseweyr or Vvardenfell anymore.

I just bought this game about a month ago, and didn't even know there was going to be a fifth (I didn't play any of 1-4 either) until I came across this forum. Needless to say, I'll probably have my hands full with this one for a while, but I'll probably pick up TESV in a couple of years like I did with this.

I'm starting a new character tonight after the football game =). I've never been able to do a 100% pure caster atronach class and I have a really good idea for an inquisitor style character, thanks to watching a few episodes of Monty Python's Flying Circus a few days ago...NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!!

Mains will be:
Destruction
Illusion
Alteration
Blade
Conjuration
Speechcraft
Mercatile

Magic focus
Atronach
High Elf

Stat focus: Int. and End.

Red Robes only....
name...Biggles...

It's funny how things go. I just a few days ago installed Arena and Daggerfall on my game computer, planning to do a "grand playthrough." It looks like I'll have "dessert" waiting when I get through these courses!

Seriously, I'll wait a year or two, until the bugs are squashed. I still play Morrowind a lot, so there's no reason to think I'll drop Oblivion when I eventually get Skyrim.

Wait...what? I don't keep up with FO:NV, but why does it require steam?
By the way, Rogue Warrior was only PUBLISHED by Bethesda, not made by 'em.

On topic now, I'm always playing Oblivion, and suspect I will still play it for a long time after TESV comes out (albeit not as often).

About Rogue Warrior, yeah I know they only published it but still, you'd think they woulda pushed back or something.

About FONV requiring steam: that is certainly what I thought. I think I'll confirm by asking straight up on the forums.

I think I will reinstall all my mods and start a new character just for fun. Except I'm too lazy.
