Whatever replaces the Fighter's Guild, but that doesn't mean I'll stick to that exclusively at the start. It's just usually a good idea to go and join the guild that fits your archetype first. But really, it depends on how their designed. I wouldn't call myself a jack of all trades, but I do like to dabble in magic and stealth even though I'm primarily a fighter. In Oblivion there were some extremely useful perks to going up the bottom ranks in the Mages and Thieves guild while the Fighter's Guild was pretty much just a small income of money for repetitive kill quests.
Hopefully there's some more ambiguous factions with fun quests that aren't necessarily designed towards one archetype or another. And hopefully the specific factions will be more focused on perks suited to your role rather than just quests "suited" for your playstyle. Because let's be honest, "go kill everything" is pretty universal in the Elder Scrolls games.
