In my school NOBODY knows what The Elder Scrolls is. But they know what Dragon age and Fable is? That is one huge load of [censored]. TES is 1000000000000% better than those games. Of course with all these CoD [censored] running about.... It's hard for the fantasy genre in general. It's all FPSs these days. Is Skyrim going to have commercials and stuff? I mean not everyone watches Happy Harry. Is this game going to get commercials or ads through the web?

Mehh. Depends how old you are. When I was still in school kids were talking about Morrowind. Oblivion sold well so I can only expect Skyrim to do the same. Most likely better.

Marketing is being done wonderfull by Pete Hines, most of my friends know about it but it just isn't their 'genre'.

If the people who are rushing out to buy Fable haven't heard of TES, that could be a GOOD thing. ;)

I wouldn't worry about it. Morrowind and Oblivion are titles people know, and they know Bethesda made them. I'd expect a Skyrim ad blitz two months from release.

Well, if your at School and in the top year (Age 15-16) then most of your class mates wont have heard of or Played a previous TES game since Oblivion came out when you were 10-11 and Morrowind came out when you were only 6-7.

Also isn't Skyrim rated Pegi 18?? J/k j/k

I think you should convert your class mates to the TES games because they are seriously missing out!

Can I ask what the purpose of this thread is? Just wondering
Anyway: I have meet one guy in person that have played(or heard of) a TES game(except my brother and father :D ), but that is because most fans of the series is between 25 and 40(or at least thats what my impression is. Still a student so I'm not entirely sure.

Actually I'm in 9th grade. But converting people into TES players is impossible here. They don't care about anything other than CoD.

Take some comfort in knowing that your school is an exception. Most people who play games know what it is.

I enjoy CoD also but feel that a balanced gaming diet is best lol! I guess I'm lucky because almost all my friends are familiar with the TES games but were all over 25 and sad lol!

I wouldn't worry about it, as long as you know about Skyrim and can't wait to play then that's all that matters.

My guitar teacher actually had a half hour long rant about Skyrim in class so obviously he and everybody else in my class know about it.

Well it wasn't really about Skyrim it was more about his favorite videogames but when someone brought up Skyrim he said that he was going to have to upgrade his system and then we started talking about new features like dragons and dragon shouts and whatnot.

So many different types of people from all over the world play TES. It's amazing if you think about it.
