New Mystery Pics Thread #5

Post » Tue Apr 20, 2010 7:27 am

Oh really. I thought something like that. Can I get a link to what it was?

The link was

http://www.elderscrolls.com/assets/images/to_delete/media/thumb3.png

However, it has since been removed from the server.

Here is a larger version of the same concept art that was the "PIC 3" thumbnail IIRC

My money is it being a servant of Hermaeus Mora. The multiple green eyes and the claws on the helm seem most to be a shout to him more than any other Daedra on what is clearly Daedra armor.

So either one of his library ghosts or more than likely, a turned woodland villager he had captured and turned.

Also in the second picture with the helm removed. It seems to have tattoo's or engravings on its forehead almost like the Faun in Pans Labyrinth.

Holy crap, I said the same thing on one of the first threads about this. :o

I'm starting to lose faith in my scamp theory... the scorpion claws on that helmet do remind me of Hermaeus Mora...

My first impression was "Ice Vampire", but I like the idea of Falmer more, and Lady N's backing counts for a lot.

I also don't think that vampires of any sort would have such distinctive armor; this must be something more special than a vampire.

If it is a Falmer, that strange monstrous visage and armor will make them VERY interesting, as if they weren't interesting enough already...

Based on the feedback from vsions....I'm going with Falmer concept (that has been Gollumized over time) and/or Hermaeus Mora daedric servant or other daedric servant. Maybe the new scamp, maybe not. If the Falmer are naturally that ugly, then I'm inclined to go with that, but otherwise I doubt it's a mer.
Ice Vampire, nope, don't think so. Something vampiric or batlike in the armor, maybe. Too hard to tell, really.

That giant looks badass.

And the black stone looks to be a mural, hence the profile view of 2 people walking toward a stone structure. Looks like something we'll see on a wall in-game....

It's always been pretty obvious to me that its either undead or a Daedra. It just doesn't look like something alive. It's all wrinkled, grey hair...

Which is why I suggested maybe an undead falmer.

Sry for double post, that was not intentional :)

1: goblin with a helm
2: scamp (definetly a scamp!!!)
4: looks like a shrine, theres also 2 guards in this picture i think, one dead (to the right) one alive (to the left) and the one to the left kindof looks like he's sitting on the horse (altho thats definetly cus of bad image quality) alternatively it could be a city's wall.
5:Santa Claus

(btw i cheated by resizing these things with photoshop, sue me :P)

The helmet from pic 1 looks like a variant of daedric armor.
