I would've enjoyed the final mission more if it didn't cause my poor old Xbox to huff and puff so much. The epic final battle wasn't against CL, it was against constant screen-tearing and a frame rate that regularly hit single-figures. 'Twas more of a slog than anything else.
This story is the best I have seen in years.
Really? Don't get me wrong, it's alright and a big step-up from FO3's, but the best you've seen in years?
Not a fan of the main quest myself, for my money the best storytelling in this game comes in the side-quests and (particularly) the companion quests. The machinations of who gets the MacGuffinum Chip and the build up to the battle of the Dam left me -- and my characters -- pretty cold.
Getting a character-by-character and settlement-by-settlement account of what happened next in the ending slides was nice though.
