Crimson Caravan vs. Gun Runners

Post » Sat May 08, 2010 8:17 am

So I have been tasked to all sneaky like, steal the blueprints towards building weapons from the Gun Runners. How will this impact them in the future as I have a rather great deal of gratitude towards them. Both from F:NV and the old Fallout games

Yeah, so long as you're sneaky and don't get caught there'll be no repercussions at all.

Oh good. I was afraid that I'll put them outta business after The End or something.

OT: I love your avatar dikeybird. I still play that game and it's the best N8 game ever made

Unfortunately, there aren't any consequences. I wish they did get put out of business in the end, or that they would have a major price hike for that branch. I found the Gun Runner's role to be disappointingly lacking in this game in general :sadvaultboy:

No matter what you do, whether you are sneaky about it or not, the only really important person around there is Ellijah (for the unmarked quest Dealing with Contreras).

Other than that, the Vendotron will always...well..."vend" (or sell, whichever you prefer) no matter what happens to the other people around him/it. And yes, his sell list will still replenish.

Now now, they have a perfectly good .50 MG Sniper Rifle for sale. That is enough to make me like them. :gunfanatic:

Yes it's odd, but lets not forget that the gun runners are the defacto reliable seller of everybodies favourite weapon set ( guns ) and its mods.
That and the fact it's really well stocked, and has access to the most powerfull ones. others do but not allways the one you want on a regular basis.
Any in game consequence would get a load of angry ranters, screaming nooooo!! I can't play this game now, with vey bad grammar.

Post game I wish they did something about this though yes.
As the CC are spread out furter than than the GR's, at least I think they are, or trying to do so.

Just do the quest Heart Ache by the Numbers, either you kill Alice preventing her from sharing the blue prints OR she's killed on her way back west after being recalled. The gun runners deny any involvement saying they'd have no "public" motivation for such an attack.
