Security campaign harder?

Is it just me or are the security missions like 3x 4x harder then the resistance missions? I mean I know cops are retards, but they are also murderous, kidnapping, gang members. Can't they learn how to stick together in game FFS?

Most of the security missions are attacker-based, meaning the enemy (the resistance) has the advantage of defensive positions. Attacking is always more difficult than defending, hence why the security campaign ends up feeling more difficult than the resistance campaign.

Agreed i just beat the entire resistance campaign including the what if missions on hard with very little difficulty (i beat every mission on the first time except for the plane mission which took me four tries) I'm wondering how many times i'll lose on the security campaign, seeing as i lost some missions about 10 times on easy! i hate the security missions!

Yeah, I'd say the Security campaign is a good bit harder. Especially the "Early Launch" mission. The Resistance has a huge advantage on that map. Pretty tough.

If you played Resistance first, Security missions are harder.

If you play Security first, Resistance are harder.

The higher you level, the harder it gets.

Yes, the campaign with the security is more harder but that's only bots in front of you so... that's not a real problem

No. Most resistance missions will always be easier than most Security missions. As others have stated, Security has to play offense the majority of the time. It always takes less to defend than to attack.

The level of the main character does effect single-player campaign's enemy A.I. and so whichever campaign you start first may seem easier in relation to Bots' damage and techniques. However, I agree that some of the Security Missions just have difficult choke-points and the level design is not always fair - but it doesn't have to be; I agree with the above statement saying that when you're attacking, it should be a little harder.

I think the game does get very frustrating though and I feel like I should set the disc on fire.
But then I play online - with other people like the game was intended - and it becomes just as challenging, but more fun (mostly).

It's just the security is crazy difficult. Played through resistance on hard and beat it in a couple of hours. Started a new character because I didn't want the eye scar anymore and ended up cursing at my computer due to the difficulty of the security missions and the horrible teamwork of the security.

in my experience the resistance missions are definitely easier, for both multiplayer and against/with bots.

Depends on how good you are with attacking, some people I know play a terrible defensive game and found Resistance hard to play with.
Hopefully the DLC were getting in June will contain some Security defense missions, I enjoy attacking but like the look of the resistance more.
