Ive beaten the game and the 1st time trough I sent someone out in front of the dinosaur and well it ended with Boone being ****ed off at me. So this go around i'm trying to do everything in the game that the wasteland has to offer me. so now im trying to figure out where this evidence is that im looking for.

Keep asking around Novac, until you speak to No-Bark. He then advises you to check out Jeannie Crawford's(the motel room owner lady) safe in the lobby.

yeah I never tried the safe cause its text is red, and didnt want the locals to get pissed about me opening it.

If you go in at night, there's no one in there to see you do it.

There are a few places in the game where you will need to interact with items and containers with red-colored text if you want to complete a quest or side quest. Just make sure nobody sees you doing it. If you crouch and it says "HIDDEN" at the top of the screen, that's just as good as being alone in the room for this purpose.

Yes. Go to the motel lobby at night, and stay hidden. You'll lose some Karma, but it'll be worth it.

I don't remember losing karma for robbing her house or the office, even before the quest.

Yeah, no Karma loss for her areas. If you try to open the safe when she's still there, she'll attack, which might cause issues, but that's it.
