If it is real, the transition from the V to the Y has been on my mind since this was announced, love it.

I just posted it here, not defending it nor trying to prove everyone wrong, just wanted to hear some opinions

That might not be the final screen. But the fake one was pretty nice. But very silmilar to Oblivion in terms of the style.

Very likely a fake. It's way too close to Oblivion's title screen in layout and style. Consider the difference between Morrowind and Oblivion's main menus. They wouldn't make something so similar to Oblivion's for Skyrim.

That is very obviously Oblivion's title screen, modded to use different videos. They didn't even try to change the style of it. Besides, title screens are incredibly easy to mock-up.

I hope not. I'm sure it will be much smoother and nicer looking. Oblivion's main menu was rather chunky and 'old' looking. I hope Skyrim's is cooler. (Like that pause menu. :drool:)

It's clearly a modified oblivion menu with color edited screenshots and the theme dubbed onto it. They wouldn't keep that same style. I think it'll probably be something like in the bethesda video where they tour the building. They were in the auditorium and they had a game menu up on a projector. While I'm sure it's not been fully made yet, it seems like a good possibility.

I hope it DOESN'T stay like that. It seems too modern/MassEffect-y for Skyrim. Maybe if they changed the lighting so it seems like a flickering fire is lighting it? That would add enough of an "old" touch to it so it won't seem as clean.

That's a new screen for me, that would be great! just "flying" through the mountains, with time lapse and changing weather ... oh man even the title menu has me excited :drool:

One thing is for sure, the first time the menu comes up, i'm not gonna hit "new game" right away, I'm gonna enjoy the music and whatever background they put.
