>New Game Plus<

Okay so to get this out of the way you can not "continue" the game after the last mission & credits i.e. like you can in Fallout 3 if you have the Broken Still DLC

Obsidian has said they will not do a DLC that continues the main story like Fallout 3 placing you back on the world map after the original ending cause of how they built the core games story it just defeat the purpose of aspect that make up New Vegas

Alright so a work around would basically allow via a DLC to allow you to simple put use a >New Game Plus< feature when you select this option you'll be ask to choose a previous save does not need to be a specific save it can be any so if you have a level 15 character for example I would start my
>New Game Plus< with my total skill points that where earned to be used right off the bat as well as my caps on the side
in addition you would have all the ammo or anything that does not wight anything on you
but the cool thing is all the location you had been to would be marked on your map and ready to fast travel to right away

I wouldn't mind a New Game Plus option where you restart the game Doc Mitchell revives you with all your leveled stats. Solves both problems, I think.

This is win :intergalactic:

Meh, I don't see the point. If I start a new game, I'd do it to try out a new character build, not to play the same character I just did.

And even if I did remake essentially the same character, I wouldn't want to start off already leveled. If I wanted that, I could just reload one of my save games from before the "point of no return" quest. Or, since I play PC, I could just use console commands to quickly bump a new character to a higher level right at the start of my new game, and give myself caps and other gear, too.

I just feel like new game plus is unnecessary.

The point is to continue with your old character if thats what you want since you can't continue after the story.

Its not like it prevents you from starting all over.

I would like a Newgame+, with the following features. It is good to be able to start up a new game without losing some of the things that you earned while playing through your last game. Hopefully, NG+ is something that would be adopted by Western RPG developers.

NEWGAME+ (You can start a Newgame+ with a Newgame+ savefile, and after the credits.)
-Reset to LV1.
-Karmic balance set to neutral.
-Activate or deactivate as many traits as desired.
-six change operation, and renaming becomes available.
-Carry over perks from previous games with an character.
-Keep your chosen Tags, and get an additional Tag every 10 levels.

I'd rather have hardcoe Mode +1 than a Mode where we get too powerful.

Maybe we can have both the NG+ and Ultra Difficulty to become available. Then people could mix'n'match, such as doing Ultra Difficulty with NG+, or do an non-NG+ game with it, which ought to be pretty darn hard.

I don't see the point. I am guessing the player character dies in the end. I haven't plated NV yet so it is just a guess.

Same here. I don't see the reason for such an option.
**Wouldn't that just leave you in the remains of the game with only the option to shoot at things? :yuck:

You might be misunderstanding the Newgame+. Traditionally, you start the entire game over, but your character stats and inventory are carried over. Basically, you get a bunch of goodies and get to play through the whole thing again.

Well if the point is to continue my character, why not just reload an early save?

What's the difference?

I just don't get WHY people are moaning about this.

What is there left to do AFTER the last quest that you couldn't have finished earlier?
