Sorry about the silly Thread title, but basically its a question about You, the Horse and the Dragon.

Its constantly being said that Horses will be in Games and that Bethesda is deciding if you will ride them or not. :ermm:

Anyway, do you think in a Dragon Fight, a Dragon will swoop down and grab you, then lift you in the air while letting go till you fall to your doom or you miraculously Survive the drop. :blink:Skip to 0:56 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xhv85pCdFTw

What if you are riding a Horse and shoot it with a Bow and Arrow, then the Dragon picks you up with the Horse and you both fall.

If a Dragon is just going to fly by a Village and just burn it to the Ground, he should atleast take some Villagers with him and drop them from a distance.

This is 1 reason I doubt horses will be in game, that's a ton of coding to make things 'proper' if a dragon attacks you while you're on a horse.

I will not care if they do this or not. It sounds however like too much development work.

Quite right. Getting horses to the standard RDR has set would be hard enough. Throw dragon attacks into the equation and it's just too complicated.

I wouldent be upset if Horses are left out from the Game, i hardly ever use them anyway in Oblivion.

I like running and Exploring, will it upset you if Horses are left out from the Game, what good were they to you anyway

Wouldn't upset me at all. I never used them in Oblivion.

RDR needed awesome horses, because they're such an integral part of the western setting. Being able to ride a horse in Skyrim on the other hand really isn't vital at all.

I feel like the only thing I read on this forum is a bunch of non-developers shooting down every single idea with the line "it will take to much time/development resources" or this one
"i would rather have them work on something I want in the game"

Its very contradicting to the purpose of a forum as its not discussion but rather dismissial. Im not sure why people get so mad and devensive about things they either want or dont want anyway.

Oh yea on topic. I think it would be really cool. And todd has eluded to having us do something with dragons that isnt quite riding them

Just make the horse get spooked when a dragon is about to attack, throw the Character from it and run off...

That should be easy enough!

Well if Havok behaviour works really good, then it won't be too much of a problem. But the question is: will it be good?

You get picked up by a dragon, you die from the drop, so unless they bring back slowfall, can't see it happening.

Dead on. All I hear is "too much time!" "This will distract them from this part of the game!" the way I see it... there IS more than 1 person working on one game I think there are some things they could find time for if it seemed like a good, legitimate idea.
