High Elf Or Not?

I'd say a pale dark elf as she's got a greenish/bluish tinge to her face... but that's just going on what the races in Oblivion look like, we don't actually have anything to properly reference it with...

Well, her eyes look completely black and aren't Bosmer eyes like that?

Has anyone else noticed the tavern looks like it has a second story? Also, having a fire in an enclosed area looks pretty dangerous. I'm sure they're breaking some sort of fire code.

edit: Has anyone tried brightening the picture to see what the hell is going on in the assassination?

If we judge by Oblivion's anatomy standards I would say Altmer because Bosmer in OB had wider jaw lines than the Altmer. The Altmer had slender elongated faces.

There's no one you can really compare his height to, and remember there's people with different proportions even of the same race now.

Indeed, unlike in past games, not every Nord is the same size, presumably. In any case, I'm leaning towards Nord, but that's mostly because since the game is set in Skyrim, I automatically assume any caucasian-looking human is a Nord if I don't have any reason to believe it is some other race I'm seeing.

Well, her eyes look completely black and aren't Bosmer eyes like that?

SOME Bosmer faces had eyes like that in Morrowind, but some of them had normal eyes and as far as I know, their eyes were normal in every other game too, so we can't be sure if that feature will carry over into Skyrim or not. In any case, I'd say that the elf is too far away and the picture not clear enough to really tell what her eyes are like.

Actually on the topic of the guy playing the lute (I think its a lute) I wonder if we can play it as well?

Todd did say that every activity we see NPCs doing we can also do ourselves... Looking forward to testing that theory :-D

Is it ok if the first thing I think of when I think punk metal is the Ramones or the six Pistols?

Change that to punk rock and you're pretty much spot on.

Anyway as for the elf, I believe it's an altmer. Looks to tall to be a bosmer,
also she looks kinda yellowish compared to that other guy standing close to her.

I believe it's an Altmer, she looks (as many others have said) too tall to be a Bosmer, plus she has a sort of snobbish look about her.

Btw, the instrument is a lyre.

I agree. By the way, I hope that player didn't expect to not get caught for that kill, unless everyone else was in on it...

I would imagine that everyone will react to it after the murder has occurred.

Look at her face. WAY to "snooty" for a Bosomer, so she has to be an Altemer. Just look at the extra high forehead as well. Also don't forget the way she is looking down her nose the character.

Or am I reading to much into this, because I can't stand this long wait for the game to come out??? :tes:

Snotty Expression? That's How Valen Dreth described a Breton..... Anways I think she is an Altmer cause she looks pretty tall and the lute guy is an Imperial cause he has a bit darker skin tone than a casual breton (with pretty pale skin).

I agree. By the way, I hope that player didn't expect to not get caught for that kill, unless everyone else was in on it...

A Tavern which has the Dark Brotherhood hideout in it's basemant maybe? And those other pepole are one of them?
