in oblivion this did not happen, although ghosts turned to ectoplasm.
so i was thinking... now that we have the technology to have decent ashification... should it come back in game? what should happen to them on death.. or even when wounded?
if you cut a dremora's ribs then what does he bleed? red blood? ash? black blood?
when he dies what happens to him? does he die like a person? does he turn into a statue that crumbles straight away? does he fall to the ground to turn into a crumbling statue or does he fall to the ground whilst transforming into ash? does his blood splattered all over the place turn to dust? how fast is the transformation? what else happens?!?!?!
this goes for vampires too...
and what happens with ghosts? should they bleed ectoplasm when you cut them or bleed nothing until death when they turn into a glowing pile?
and with spells... does anyone hope for more... power?
for instance... should damage spells show damage? would it be interesting if a very powerful spell rid something of all its flesh and left only the skeleton, apparel and items behind? or perhaps gruesomely burning off the skin of an enemy?
when you use a drain spell (health)... would it not be more amazing/scary if it had an effect like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1TEF1-i5iA (ignore the fact that its harry potter, just look at how things blur into the mouths, it looks awesome ) (and dementors would be cool in skyrim hehe) but perhaps another effect could be used on victims drained to death? perhaps they could go pale or suddenly appear old on death (like how its done in stargate:atlantis)
and should hitting people with fire attacks burn their flesh and possibly burn off a lot more flesh when lethal?(fire magic would also char bones) perhaps paralyze could have different magnitudes and possibly result in death? electrocution should cause spasms that may hit other people
