Is this happening to anyone else? I created a Security character and for quite a few matches I was always placed on Security. Now every time I try to play I am placed on the Resistance side.

I noticed in the customization screen if you press triangle you can customize a Resistance version of your Security character. Ever since I pressed triangle I keep getting placed on Resistance, even though my character is still shown as being Security (in character selection screen and the main menu it shows him in his Security garb).

Is the issue that everyone likes playing Security and I'm defaulting to Resistance or did I b0rk that character by pressing triangle in the customization screen?

I'm not at home so trying to recall the selection screens from memory....

If you select Freeplay, I think the game randomly puts you onto a team w/ whatever faction is needed to fill that game.

If you do campaign, depending on who's mission you select to play, is the faction you play.

The triangle appears on the top right of the screen to change between Resistance and Security customization (I play on PS3).

Your preferred faction is just for your character selection screen and menu.

Yeah when you go into freeplay it randomly selects what faction you play for
