There are a lot of differences between Morrowind and Oblivion. People complained about them.
There are a lot of differences between Daggerfall and Morrowind. I know quite a few people who didn't liked the changes...
And I'm sure there were people complaining about the changes between Arena and Daggerfall.
There will be, no, there ARE a lot of people complaining about the changes between Oblivion and Skyrim.
I think people don't seem to understand that they should treat every game as its own entity. Each game has its own ups and downs, and their own unique features.
Removing the numbers from the games would help...

Actually, I think just about everybody loved the Arena - Daggerfall switch, and many people (not all) loved Daggerfall - Morrowind. The most hated transfer from what I've heard is Morrowind - Oblivion, though many people still loved that.
