stuff Bethesda should add in an update

Post » Tue Jul 27, 2010 9:44 am

im not sure about everyone but me and all my friends who play fallout new vegas all think that fallout new vegas should at least have some type of multiplayer like co-op free roam it would make the game more entertaining and also if your friend does something really cool you would be able to see it but also another one were one player is at one end of the map and one at the other

There are some games multiplayer would ruin. Fallout is one of them.

Multi-player wouldn't work unless they disabled VATS while in MP.

In an update?
Like a patch?
Well, decrease ammo consumption from 6 to 4 with Multiplas, from 3 to 2 with Defender and from 4 to 3 with Gauss Rifle.
Have a better chance for Gatling Laser, Flamer, Multiplas and Laser RCW to appear in vendor's inventories.
Not too high chance though, just a small increase in their availability.
Fix Multiplas Rifle, I can fire it at point blank distance and somehow still miss...
Increase Plasma Pistol's damage a little.
And increase Tri-Beam's damage a little as well.

Well, they could make it work in one of three ways:

1) it stops time for both players. Too bad so sad. :) Maybe have a 10 second timeout and then you cant use it again for 10 seconds.

2) it doesnt stop time at all, so you'll need to select targets at range or REALLY quickly. :)

3) have hotkey targets set up when in multiplayer. Basically you could set up macros for "1 vats head shot" or "max vats torso shots" and just click the button, but it plays in real time. No stopping or no slowdown.

But yeah. It would kind of svck. :)

There is always that fallout-like MMO called Fallen Earth. I never tried it, but hey. It might tickle your multiplayer apocalypse itch.

No, Anything but Co-Op/Multiplayer.

You could have cats with sunglasses on dancing to hardstyle for all I care, but having this on Fallout would just take away the "Lone Wanderer" aspect of the game. There's nothing like going through a really dark building on your tod, then jumping when a ghoul comes to eat you up, Om Nom Nom.

Anyway, Whatever happened to Fallout: Online

Flesh out some of the outlying places to make their stories/quests feel more full and tie them into the main factions a little better.
