How does one get recruited by the Followers? I'm at Liked with them, recruited Arcade, did the quest with the addicted guys, did the unmarked quest getting supplies from the Garrets, and have donated quite a bit of stuff. I really would like the labcoat...

Liked isn't enough. You have to be Idolized.. and that involves basically donating until you can't donate any more if you've done both That Lucky Old Sun and ED-E's companion quest and you didn't choose the FotD route.

After being Idolized, the next time you talk to Julie, then she'll invite you to join.
