i was wondering how u defeat legate lantis when your working for mr.house

Riot shotgun. Beanbag rounds and switch over to slugs when he's knocked out.

It's lanius btw and a know a ton of c4 should work. Just don't forget to bring the detonator :wink_smile:

Gobi,YCS,Pushy,Mercy,Riot,Dinner Bell,Bush.....you name it.

Range finder sneak critical. bring the remenants,power armour,and a plasma caster

Bring a speech skill of 90.
Or 80 plus a speech magazine...
(I actually get +20 from magazines, so any kind of Charisma buff that can drag your Speech out of the sixties, to reach 70+ is all you need.)
I just can't actually force myself to fight him, once I learn I can 'talk sense to him'!
He says he'll be back though - and with all the armies of The Legion at his side.
I shall await that day, Legate Lanius...

Sneak Attack Crit. with AM Rifle AP Rounds, 2 shots, dead. (Lanius's Face is Funny! But I'm not gonna spoil for anyone)

Speech 100... its how I do it every time.

My favorites:

100 melee w/ super slam perk and Knock Knock as a weapon. Sent him airborn several times w/ mauler.

Or

100 unarmed w/ ballistic fist, cross attack (and then stomp when he's down), super slam perk, and paralyzing palm. Ranger Takedown, Legion Assault, and even Khan Trick are nice to have as well.

It does help to have companions and backup to attack his entourage. Just make sure you wear his mask when you're done w/ him - feels oh so good, especially as a female character teaching the legion to mind their manners and respect women. :thumbsup:

I've only tried talking to him in the first playthrough, gave up, and decided why bother - he's just another run-of-the-mill mysogynistic jerk the post-apocalyptic world doesn't need.

I'd recommend a LMG with AP rounds, or a sneak attack with a .50 to the head.
