Have any of you so much as seen a hostile enemy wielding a Shishkebab yet? I've been sitting on pyromaniac for days waiting for one to turn up and I haven't encountered anyone carrying this most glorious of melee weapons.

Do you have one? Where did you get it? Do they come back with another one?

One of the legion assassins in the hit squad has one, it's the only one I've seen in the game so far but I haven't been out looking.

Well I'm just going to have to go upset the Legion, then.

I'm purchasing it from Blake at Crimson Caravan Company as we speak on level 19. This is the first time I've seen it in the game.

This thread is now highjacked...how about Rippers? My good character got one off a CL assassin. I want one for my bad guy, but I'm not ready to piss of the CL yet. He is playing neutral to all the main factions as of now.

Chainsaw is truly the best melee weapon, but the only Shishkebab I found was on a Legionary Assasin.
I do not know why any "assassin" would have such a prominent weapon. Its a flaming sword and at night, you could see it from miles away (if the game lets you see that far)

I usually found them with the Great Khan Armorer, along with my Mantis Gauntlet

I actually found a Ripper at Mick and Ralph's, in the special inventory. It was pretty early in the game, too, maybe level 10 or so when first arriving at Vegas.

I have got to stop getting distracted and get to Vegas.

I just got attacked last night for the first time (on this character) by Legion assassins. Got killed shortly after looting one who had a Shishkebab. After reloading, the new spawn of Legion assassins did NOT have a Shishkebab (unless I somehow missed the corpse...), so it could be a random spawn. I hear it's also sold in the BoS Bunker.

Try the Fiends in Vault 3. Motor-Runner himself is armed with a chainsaw, and iirc some of his guards had rippers. Unfortunately you'll have to accrue a bunch of good karma this way though.

You can get one as early as Nipton. The Legion guy with a dog on his head (what was his name? Vulpes?) carries one.

Snowy, that is how my good character got it. Thanks for reminding me. As Vulpes Inculta and his boys were marching off I lobbed frags at them, and mopped up the survivors. The assassin gave me one to fix the first. It was the ripper that made it possible for me to kill the assassins. But my bad guy didn't want to anger the legion so he didn't attack Vulpes Inculta. He spread the word as Vulpes wanted.

I got one off a Legionary Assassin too. 8 of them rushed me, but luckily there were 4 NCR Troops on patrol and Caravan w/ guards, etc. Helpful, even though they all died (loot galore!!). At the time I had and have Infamy with CL. That would help.

Blake seems to always have one for sale after level 18 for me, but I also modded in a craftable shish lol. I just found it silly that a person with 100 in melee, and a 90 in repair couldn't figure out how to put one together on there own.
