[This is for the PS3 but I posted it in the PS3 part of the forum and it looks lik ehardly anyone even sets foot in there lol so here]

I fired up Brink today and noticed there was a patch and thought 'hell yeh' dowloaded it started the game and everything as normal.
But then went to go online public match and when the loading screen comes up loading the level it just stays on it [The picture of the map and the the person speaking about the ark or w/e {sometimes there is no voice speaking, but just silence] And just stays there with the loading sybol going round as if its loading so it isnt frozen. You cant exit or start the game [The 'press X to continue doesn't come up] nothing works you haveto take the game out or exite the game or w/e, sometimes the person who's speaking's voice starts skipping and gets stuck at a point.

So I turned off the PS3 and started the game again and the same happend, so did it again and even tried to do the private game option with just me on my own and it done it on that aswell.... seems like some sort of glitch.
It has done it numerous times I got it to work after quitting the game like 6 times and works but it still happens allot.

It was working fine yesturday before the patch and I have never had this happen before now its regular, I haveto restart the game its very annoying and makes me want to get rid of the game even though I love it and have put up with the glitchy sound [the actual games is quite glitchy too lol] and playing with mostly BOTS online [wtf? I though this was an online orientated game... I mean look at the campaign... Its the same as online, and now I basicly haveto play the campaign when I go online unless I search for people on my friends list and hope it doesn't lag the BOTS just full the room] waiting out on a patch and now I have one its kinda ruind my game.
[Not forgetting this game was poorly optimized for consoles and looks nothing like it did in the PS3/Xbox Gamplay video's not long ago before release]
Ino im starting to rant lol but its true, and I absalutly love the game but it just doesnt work right at the moment, I wish it did, and I dont want to haveto sell it because its broken and so hard to actually play a game for me

Ino this probably hasn't happened to many people because there has been no posts I can see, but has anyone experienced this? Because I get it all the time now

EDIT: Sometimes it workes for me 'rare' but even then after the match and waiting for the next one to load it does it again...

EDIT: OMG I just tried to play a story mission because it kept doing it when I went to play online and it does it on campaign aswell...... the same thing waiting for the level to load with the loading symbol in the top right corner going round, the 'tips' at the bottom of the screen still changing and the loading music starts to skip at a point and keeps skipping and nothing happens wait ages you just haveto turn it off. This is bugging the hell out of me I just want to play Brink.... was fine before, the patch must have caused this pretty major 'bug' or 'glitch' for me. Anyone else got the same problem?

This is beyong a joke I cant even get in a game now, I got in a game a total of 3 times during quitting the game and starting again constantly probably about 30 times atleast due to this strange game braking problem, I just cant get into a game now it does it every time.
There is nothing wrong with my PS3 other games work fine as usual, theres nothing wrong with my internet [Even though it has nothing to do with it this is some sort of glitch and happens on the campaign and private too]
It was working fine and I have never had this problem before the patch, Now I cant even play a game.

Surley I cant be the only person having this problem, of what users of this game there are left.
I just want a response from a mod or w/e. This is horrible, I have never had a problem with any other game where one day I cant even play it after a patch. If I dont get a response im calling who ever I need to get my money back because I cant even play the game I payed for.....

I'd check in the PS3 problem section rather than the general discussion.

Cant be that unlucky surley. Its the patch that has done it so its definatly something severly wrong. Was working fine before, its not the disc as it was already in the PS3 from the last time a played it before the patch and all other games work fine its the game and the patch.
Like I said I origionally posted it in the PS3 forum but it looks like hardly anyone sets foot in it lol. I think a very small percentage of people who have the game are PS3 players due to the PSN being down at the release, plus many who bought Brink recently traded it in for LA Noir due to shops like HMV taking it for ￡35. and If I dont get a response from a mod or w/e soon there will be even less.
