Okay, so when I accept this mission, I go down and try to talk to that Ranger guy. The only option available in the dialogue is "Goodbye".

I have Wild Card: Side Bets activated, too. Apparently, it can cause an issue with this mission? But I can't, you know, CANCEL...the Wild Card mission. If there is a way, tell me please.

I also tried completing it and doing the next Wild Card mission to talk to the Ranger guy (Grant?), but even then, the only dialogue option is "Goodbye".

Any help on this, please?

In other words, no matter if I try to talk to him via Wild Card or You'll Know It When It Happens - the only dialogue option is still "Goodbye".

If you start Wild Card: Finishing Touch after starting this quest, you won't be able to talk to Ranger Grant (only one dialog option - Goodbye) and thus unable to start the event. Your only option is to finish Finishing Touch and let the President die.

This bug can be fixed in the console. Select Ranger Grant in the console or type "prid 0013721f" and hit enter. Then type "disable," hit enter, and type "enable." He will be reset and start talking to your character.

How do I let the president die? I went outside to the stage and no one is out there.
