I approve of this idea.

Dream ideas:

You are a wolf ( ) and your pack is on the hunt, meet/fight hunters/bigger creatures and either die/succeed/run away as your allies fight. Or maybe have a more awkward adventure, maybe get lost from the rest of the pack.

You are a goblin/troll and get to do troll type shinannigans such as chucking mud/bodily fluids ate pesky nords.

A nightmancer (Can;t think of a better name) visits your dream and turns it into a nightmare, your freedom is stolen (Limited or no mana etc) and you must get rid of him and save the life of a fellow dreamer (A dream quest XD).

Ill keep track of the ideas,im trying to get dreams which are comparable to RL ones which are commonly had. Once the CS is out ill get to work, though IDK if ill have a PC by that time that can run the game,for sure ill ahve it on Xbox so if they do somehow manage to get mods on console im good to go.

Even if one did not want this idea for general gameplay, I could DEFINITELY see this being used for vampires and werewolves. Vampires in Morrowind already had dreams when they slept, usually of people bleeding our of their eyes, or being made of glass and shattering when you moved. Dreams like this could actually be played out.

This would make an amazing mod.
But I'm afraid that's all it would make. Shouldn't be in the vanilla game for obvious reasons.

Dreams are cool. In oblivion they took the time to add what your dreams were like. Why not add dream phase gameplay too. It would be very interesting.

It sounds pretty cool. I've actually had a dream where I was naked at school and needed to do little missions to get my clothes back. It would be a rather interesting feature. There was a mission in Oblivion where you had to go into some guys dream. That was pretty creepy, but fun.

In my opinion I would only find the combat interesting. The 'find item' ones sound too tedious. But very good idea OP!

What if they allowed flight or levitation on the specially crafted dream levels?

In a dream they could get away with ridiculously cliché plots... Like that part in Shrek 2(?) about storming the castle.

The dream idea is a refreshing one, you should get modders to team up on something this unique- It would certainly add to the atmosphere of any game.

As an above post pointed out, the dreams could easily be randomized with a chance for nightmares which judging by the types of enemies we've seen in the the brief footage and screens would make for excellent one-shot horror takes. Hell you can even make ridiculously happy dreams, where everyone in the dream stops what they're doing and gets together to do the love train coco-bongo style.

I like the Idea! I just think It would be cool, and you could have a slider in options for it, up to the top is every time you sleep, and the bottom is never.... That would be pretty good! IMO

Once the kit comes out, ill get people together to begin working on it. seeing as Id like to go to college for level design and animation this could be fun for me ('ive not yet started the degree though). I made my own house of earthly delights for oblivion complete with dancing women and a skooma seller lol.
