Worthless items should be part of the Fallout world no doubt, such as bent cans and wrenches! That is what makes the atmosphere so Fallout-ish =) But I got very disapointed when I used the binoculars...*sigh* it's the exact same effect as RMB while unarmed!! =/ Come on!

Hes saying that using binoculars is the same thing as zooming in while unarmed, so it doesnt change anything.

Yes, I never use binoculars, if you zoom in normally its like the same thing. Oh, and wrenches are not useless! You can make weapon repair kits with it.

Yeah binoculars was a major let down (it also came as a pre-order bonus for me). It has a nice model, but it's completely useless once zoomed in. ALSO, what's up with huge black area around objectives??? What is it, 90's or develpers never actually used one IRL?

The two circles surrounded by blackness is not how field of view in binoculars works. It's what they do in cartoons.

because if you just zoomed there would be no way of knowing if you were using binoculars or just squinting

Heh. If you've got the PC version, see here for this modded not perfectly, but better than the cartoon version: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34715
