This is posted on the main new vegas website too allow the respective owners to manipulate and fix the problem.
This is done doing a certain few things that will not be mentioned too public.
I have confirmed exactly how its done so i know its a problem.

NOTE:
All Screenshots, Characters are On the XBOX 360 Console, And in hardcoe mode.

My first character i was helping "Yes man", And i put in the platinum chip and was doing the quest, then it told me i needed the chip for another mission.
I cannot retain my Platinum chip once it was inserted to said location.

Second character was a funny one....
While heading threw Boomer Territory, I was nearly there, and guess what lol.....
I had a stealth boy on, trying to sneak my way in.
i hear.
LOUD LOUD Artillery shell sounds. I'm like what in gods name?!

Well as the impacted the ground, I'm already suffering from minor starvation i look up, and all the sudden
BOOM BOOM BOOM
Did i die?

I think i was supposed too.....
But instead my character got launched about.....Oh i say over the lights of the casino..EASILY LOL
I was going up really fast, and fell very fast from the explosion.
Explosion didn't kill me, The height of the fall did....Pretty damn funny...

Back to the good stuff.
I'm not 100% if this is a known bug but i can tell you, That if its not fixed people will obtain 'hardcoe" mode achievement with the slightest of ease and know how.
I wont give any details but i can say a few words.
Immunity to h20/food/sleep/rads All applies. Damage in general is different.... Its like auto-useing super stimpaks over and over, If you loose health, you can see that it slightly will raise by itself over time (from 3 bars of health to full in a matter of a 50 seconds.) All by its lonesome self.
I only took a limited amount of pictures, and saved the game file to a new location, So i can save it for future laughs and giggles.
If asked, Is the game save corrupt, No it is not.
I can still play the same game, with the same effects, but its just not my style, and no fun.

A bit odd. But it was a bit hard to read because of the random stuff at the beginning.

Yeah because if you think about it.
How many people would come to this thread, read that and find out I'm not giving any details on how to activate the bug/trick whatever you wanna call it.

And this is my second/ third post on this website, I'm not a troll, I have better things to do, Like play fallout
And if i find something as such as this.

Why wouldn't i like to keep it too myself?
Besides the 'hardcoe' Mode is meaning towards - If your an avid fallout player, pick this.
If not don't.
hardcoe is really not that hard, Too me its the way the game was meant to be played, and therefore shall be played upon

I have Other pictures, But they have a few spoilage images in them.
So i cannot post those.

However i didn't wanna post the one picture of me wearing Bennys' suit, Though i did cause its not considered a spoilage to the game.
Anyways, I like my enthusiasm Thats why i had to tell a story.
Ive made 3 characters now. First two reached past level 20, But got bugged and i had to start over.
And since starting over.... This has happend.
And a thing that you should all know, This is only able to be done on the xbox 360 version.
I don't need to confirm this, because it tells itself that it is. lol
