Question about radio new vegas

Post » Mon Aug 30, 2010 10:07 pm

I am not sure if this is a bug , would like to know if anyone else has noticed this as there doesn't seem to be posts about it anywhere. The announcements or news, seem that he doesnt seem to follow my player much at all unlike fallout 3 did. im at the point where im idolized by quite a few factions, done many quests, on the main story im sure im midway or more now i want put a spoiler but i will say i just got the back the merchandise that was stolen from me in the beginning of the game. After all this the only thing MR.New Vegas has to say about me personally is that a courier was shot in the head twice and made a full recovery. He did recognize that prim has a new sheriff, yet he seems to think thats the only thing ive done in the game, he still announces things i havent done yet but really by this time in fallout 3 i was either being called a B***h by three dog or a paladin. so am i bugged, or is this all there is to his radio announcements and news? if so frankly im a bit disappointed in that aspect.

if anyone can point to a list of all things he is supposed to say or something that would be cool.

Mr. New Vegas doesn't follow your character like Three Dog did. They really dropped the ball on that one.

though it's not a game breaking thing, i did find it to be a good source of amusemant, shame they didn't put the same amount of detail in to it as they did in 3. thanks for the reply.

Thats interesting, because Mr. New Vegas has been keeping up with my exploits pretty good. It just seems that it takes awhile when you first venture out there into more stuff, because I will admit that staying in Goodsprings/Primm the first couple hours didnt help at all.

Mr. New Vegas does mention some specific things about your character now and again, but you'll find him talking about happenings in places the more of the map you explore.

Certain things will make him react. However has anyone notice this guy is a creep. He is constantly saying how much he loves you and how you love him. Its getting creepy.

You know, I didn't really notice, but you make a good point, OP. Mr. New Vegas doesn't follow your exploits as much as Three Dog does. +1 for Three Dog. :)

This may be a slight spoiler for you (probably not) but
Spoiler
Mr. New Vegas is a robot programmed by Mr. House.
I haven't delved much into the main quest, but I assume there's some plot intricacies to 'Mr. New Vegas'.

A robot with the voice of Wayne Newton? Thats awesome. I wonder if I could get me one with the voice of Patrick Stewart, or maybe Sean Connery
