I have recieved both logs from ED-E, and it's been quite a while. In the interim, the game got patched. Now, no matter how many days I wait with him hired, I never get the radio convo with Lorenzo and April. Does anyone know what's up?

While I don't have a solution, I can tell you I have a similar problem. I can't get the second log unlocked. I have had conversations with several of the npc's mentioned in the http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/ED-E_My_Love but so far no result. Is there a certain subject I should talk about?

Update:
It seems my ED-E has upgraded itself, despite the fact I haven't completed the quest. It now shoots blue laser.
