Wait, so you can travel in boats, kinda like the silt striders in MW?

News to me, if that's true.

No. Just another error on the part of an unprofessional reporter.

you can also fast travel by boat in morrowind.

The web site has too much flashy garbage for me to concentrate on the story.

The only other one i seem interested in, is final fantasy. Well that and maybe mass effect 3. Both of them not to be released until 2012 :\.

And of course skyrim is first on the list :tes:

Todd said there's boats but never specifically tied it to fast traveling.

Ok, I finished the article on Skyrim, and it’s not that bad at all, it has a lot of good information and I can tell research was done. There are just 3 major issues.

1) Radiant AI did not become Radiant Story. Radiant AI was revamped and made far better, and Radiant Story was added as a separate feature.

2) Boats have not been confirmed as a method of transport, they have only been confirmed to be in the game, as your quote states.

3) This is the biggest one. There are well over 200 hours of side quests, but NONE of them are random, they’re all hand-crafted, and use Radiant Story to make certain elements of them dynamic to relate better to your character.

The dude says "wizards and orks" are "a threat to the land".... Shows he never played a TES game and has barely any idea of what it's about.

He's just rehashing the same info we have and everyone had, making another interpretation. By someone who has no clue.

I forget what interview but Todd specifically said there are boats but you can't ride them. Idk if that means like actually stand on them while there moving or if that means no transportation what so ever. But it seems pointless to add boats and not give them some purpose. Maybe they will be like on water houses????

In one interview, he said there would be boats, but you can't sail on them.

In another interview, he said there would be something somewhat like the carriage fast travel in Morrowind but different and restricted to only a couple of locations.

Quite possibly he's talking about boats that can provide a travel service to a few coastal cities

Skyrim and Dark Souls are the only ones i'm interested in.

And to a lesser extent, the Witcher 2.

What stands out to me is that it lists Final Fantasy Versus XIII as coming out this year when in fact it has no release window listed yet. Final Fantasy XIII-2 is slated for early next year much like ME3.

They tried, even if they got some details wrong. I'm not going to touch the "enemies of the land" thing. That's just too facepalm worthy.

He's actually a TES fan, and knows the lore well. He's rehashing old info because he's giving people who don't know about the game an intro to it.

i found it quite interesting that you can burn a harvest and as a consequence the prices in the area skyrocket.
