Will you be able to...

has already been confirmed through Bethesda that there is no dual-wielding shields. I'm sorry I don't have link to "prove it", but it's true.

Wait, what? Lemme find a source, I am almost positive it was confirmed...

Its already been confirmed in several articles. It also makes perfect sense, considering how the system was described. You can put any one handed item in any hand. Well, shields are one handed, so you can put one in one and another in the other.

It's not confirmed, Bethesda even said so.

I'll try to find a link.

In a game of choice, and the option to dual wield what you please. Why would Bethesda GO OUT OF THEIR WAY to not allow this? Seriously, it's more idiotic to say "No, you can't" because I can right now, so WHAT IN THE NAME OF THE GODS would stop me when I can grab 2 axes? Nothing

Ok, did some poking around. Bethesda has said nothing about it. The chart though was published by a magazine featuring Skyrim, however it's source isn't given. So I guess the topic is viable. :D

Dual weilding shields better be in! How else will I survive roleplaying my dual shield weilding pacifist!! He'll be mince meat in no time without them! :)

Seriously though, I've never read any article that said it wasnt possible, but I have read you could... Somewhere!

So you're saying that you want Bethesda to add extra animations for dual wielding shields when hitting with them?

Yeah, no.

Seems like a fairly equal amount of people in this thread that are 100% sure they read something somewhere either confirming or denying dual-wielding shields, yet no one has come forth with any kind of proof, so until someone can provide that, I consider dual-wielding shields in, because:

As for the guy replying to this with something about "making extra animations," since you can put a shield in either hand, they have all the shield animations for both hands, right? So there, they wouldn't have to have made any extra animations for dual-wielding shields since they're there anyway.
