This might have been asked before, so I apologize if it has.

But I have has Veronica as a follower for a lot of the game. Then while completing a mission, the crimson caravan one, I entered the barracks, Veronica didn't follow me. But when I exited, she was gone. And I have been many places to see if I could find her including where I originally met her.

The game still tells me that I have a follower, b.c I cant complete the mission from the Gold Rush.

Any tips on how/where I can find her or get her to come back to me.

did you download the latest patch? if so it shows where your followers are at all times

As the poster said above, it shows where your followers on your map now.
Veronica does have a bad habit about getting trapped in inaccessible places.
She should pop up randomly one day though when you least expect it in the middle of some dark cavern and terrify you half to death, though.
At least she did for me..

Can you specify your console or OS? That would help. If you're on PC you can use the console command:
moveto player 000e32a9

I assume you tried bringing her back by doing a Fast Travel to another location.
