" This is Lieutenant Colonel Micheal J Mahan. I was one of the senior staff members in the camp Novarro complex. We were all very angered and frightened about what happened to the Posiedon Oil station. I remember that night as being the one where our unit had many suicides. We could hear the pistol shots as 10 of our precious soldiers exterminated themselves. I decided to check the old logs for any information on a well defended area. This way we could continue the enclaves work. Luckily I found the logs from one of the old ZAX computers calling itself EDEN. I didnt buy it at first but after doing a bit of research I found a military complex called Raven Rock Ironically located right in the nations capital! This would be perfect for jump starting their operations.
My men couldnt believe me on my word though and Desertions to the NCR were frequent. At our lowest point we only had 150 soldiers left. I showed them pictures of the DC area. I made propoganda of the whole affair... I even believed some of it myself. My work included lush landscapes of grass with trees and normal people. It showed the White House intact and with a high banner of the enclave above it. Dang it was beautiful. So beautiful in fact that our men where almost begging me to go. I heard reports of "what time are we leaving, sir?" or "Is it really that well over there, sir?". The trip would lower their enthusiasm however.
On the first day of takeoff we had 45 vertibirds. How do you fuel that many? We had to seperate into vertibird teams of three and hop from one gas station to another. We couldnt retain contact with all of them and there were raiders at many of the stations. We had one unit surive on a basket of rotton oranges. Who knows how they got them. When we finally reached the east coast the rallying point was the Virginia Military Institute. Only 25 vertibirds made it with a total of 75 soldiers. We needed humans unaltered and pure of the radiation. I ordered my men to clear out vaults and conscript the people into the service. Some came willingly and we lost a few men from the ones who didnt. Overall though the Enclave prevailed and our force was soon up to 213 strong. After a few days we packed up everything, made our way to Fort Bragg North Carolina and restocked. We got almost a complete armory worth of units and robots, ykno' those bad-A-- sentry bot types.
Long story short, and with only about 30 seconds left of audiotape, I now am reporting our position as somewhere near the DC ruins. We will soon be arriving at the Raven Rock complex."

Soon after Mahans holotape stopped the people of Old Olney looked up as the roar of the engines were heard. A mass of dragonfly-like aircraft soared overhead on the way to the raven rock complex.
