One thing we can all agree on..

Yes the music is dead on fantastic. Captures the gloomy doomsday mood with a slight tinge of colored hope of FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS perfectly. Really enhances some of the strong subject themes one comes across. First class work by Inon Zur and Mr Morgan aswell as all others involved which are many from what i've read in the credits. I doubt i'll be adding any outside music considering how perfect all the music is to the setting. The radio music and DJ's are also on the mark with each having its own different playstyle without overpowering the character of the other stations. Definitely comforting to hear them in the desolate bleak landscape of FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS. Now that i think of it would have been nice to have an evangelist or religious station aswell :P

Thanks OBSIDIAN and BETHESDA for the wonderful!

The music on the radio is terrible imo, but the background music in this game is indeed very good.

My opinion exactly. The only radio songs i can listen to are the Frank Sinatra-ish tracks.

I also love the Dean Martin music. Some of the tracks can be a bit overwhelming in their gloom but i just switch stations when that happens.

The background music is really good but the radio music is WAY too repetitive, I'll hear Johnny Guitar on Radio New Vegas and then change to Mojave or the other station and hear it there, go back to Radio New Vegas and hear it two songs later after Ain't that a Kick and the Bing Crosby song, and its just over and over and over. ahhhhhhh

Far from perfect. Johnny Guitar is terrible I cant listen to the same station for 30 mins without hearing the same song 4 times.

Ugh Johnny Guitar is TERRIBLE...makes me want to rip out my eye balls and strangle myself with them...ugh.
There are probably a select couple of songs that I can handle that are on the radio...but really I was VERY disappointed in the radio on this game. I LOVED FO3's radio, so much so I put some of those songs in ym play list haha.

The music that plays w/o the radio on, it's wonderful and i love it....first time since Oblivion really.

These.
I can only listen to nlue moon and aint that a kick in the head. I liked the radio in fallout, here I like the ambient music more, it feels more lonely with no radio, but its not annoying.

One of the my fav ambient songs in the game is the one with the Alarm going off.. At first i thought it was a real Missile alarm and big nuke was going to drop or something. But then relised it was just ambient music...

The sounds affects are really good too, when you hear gunfirei n the distance, and so is the spooky haunting music when your at graveyards or in Ghoul area's

This... My only complaint with the background music is that section where a disembodied villain's laugh echoes across the wastes... Ughh... Makes me shudder everytime... Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

Agreed, the score is incredible, the ominous music that kicks in as you trek towards your next destination is awe inspiring. It sounds even better with my turtle beaches:D

Its a bit of a weirdness moment when coming across something in the desert and some creepy music plays. Kind of funny exaggeration effect when it happens as the screen blurs when a drug is wearing off. Sound and music really shine with drama in FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS. Hopefully they'll get some "BEST OF" awards for all the hard work.

I havent tried out any Turtle Beach headphones. Was using some Tritton Axpros but then switched to some Audio Technica ATH-AD700 stereo headphones a week ago and for me it was a totally different satisfying complete experiance. The AD700s seemed more 5.1 surround then actual 5.1 headphones did even though they were only stereo with a jaw dropping soundstage which allowed me to hear every little slight nuance in sound and in which direction it was coming from. 5.1 headphones just dont do it for me anymore especially with the bass overkill that drowns out all the other sounds. Everyone has their preferences though and it all comes down to what one likes to hear in their audio.

Its pretty cool finding all the great trinkets laying about in FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS which adds to the sense of satisfaction when treasure hunting. So far i've found a snow globe and roaring toy dinosaur. Brings back memories of TES 2 DAGGERFALL with all the trinkets and icons one would find while exploring the huge world.

I HATED the tracklist on New Vegas Radio. It looped the same five horrible classic country songs endlessly. I replaced them post-haste.

IMO, Obsidian has been the best in the biz with the Ambient music. Neverwinter Nights 2 had the best soundtrack of any game in recent memory.

I love that quavering violin ambience they have, reminds me of Agatha's station in F3. I'm quite fond of all the country songs on the radio too, reminds me of San Andreas.

I loved K-ROSE.....that station rocked. How come Rockstar can have 4-5 channels in a GTA game each with more songs than all of FO3 or NV? And K-ROSE was using songs from heavy hitters, too.

I love the distant gunfire too. When I first heard it, I was scanning the area like crazy, running from rock to car to rock, trying to stay hidden. It still makes me jump a bit sometimes.

4 songs?

I've uploaded every song in the game on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/FNVSoundTrack

There are at least 30 songs.
