I need your help. I found the BoS HQ in hidden valley, but this happened before I got some quests in connection with them. The door was closed, so I broke in. They were hostile (red marker), and though I retreated immediately, they remained hostile later as well, when I came back (that time with quest). I tried to use some cheat to appease them, and it worked in a sense. My fame with them were modified to "idolized", but they still keep attacking me (except one scribe). I want to work for them, so I would need a solution.

I have a similar problem with the great khans. In red rock canyon I can get along with them, but there is a little punk in the middle of the main square. He is hostile to me (only he), and when I approach him, he attacks me, then in response I must defend myself, but so the whole community becomes hostile to me. In that case, I did not try to find a solution, I just left. The problem might be that I killed some of their members, in the chase after Benny?

could be a glitch. i gotten on the bad side of the khans but still was able to do quests for them. sometimes i am able to do quest for the powder gangers when i have a bad rep with them and sometimes not. sometimes a member of a fraction feels like attacking one of my sidekicks.

get in the habit of saving the game when you pick locks. i do because every once in awhile i get caught.

as to that lone kahn, got a stealth boy and a silent weapon? kill him. of course save the game before you do, just in case.
