With This Machine with .308 JSP. I felt like sharing. Can I join the cool kids club now?

Meh, I've felt like a pure bad-ass since around level 14 or so (17 now on this playthrough). Spec right, break the bank at all the casinos to buy good armor, and get a good companion and the game is pretty easy (not too easy, though).

Well this is my first playthrough, I haven't been able to dedicate much time. But yeah it took me 5 tries, but I got it figured out. I used This Machine because I didn't have any sniper rifles other than the Varmint Rifle, which I highly doubt would have any affect against the big deathclaws.

In very hard, armor feels like it doesn't matter at all. I think I'm like level 15, with a 28DT overall, giant mantis (the one that gives 10xp) can pretty much 5 hit you.

Get 10 luck, win 32000 caps in all the casinos on slot machines except for Ultra-Luxe, since you cannot. Then you have around 100 and some thousand caps. Set for life.

You can still get 15000 caps from Ultra-Luxe through blackjack fairly fast if you have common sense.

Where's the fun in that?

I took deathclaw promontory at lvl 11 mostly using a heavy incinerator (after butchering everyone at Hoover Dam), also planting all the explosives I had around the place.

Worst thing was by the end I had very low ammo, less than a clip for my incinerator and minimal MF/energy cells. Save, come back and oh fantastic, I'm being chased by an army of deathclaws.


Turns out you can't swim to Caesar's Legion though, who knew huh? (Yeah it was my second playthrough, first never went there except at endgame)

I've done it at LV 17 its not hard if your smart and not go Tony Montana on them. I just used the Sniper Rifle and the Anti-Material Rifle.
