I have been trying to buy the sniper rifle silencer for a while now. I am level 25 and I have gone to both the gun runners and the trade post to try and buy one on several occasions and neither have it in stock. Any one got any ideas where I might find one for sale or laying around? :gun:

I've obtained them from the 188 (not sure which gun vendor, I don't remember) as well as the gun runners outside of freeside; however I have had two playthroughs where it never showed up.

I buy all my sniper rifle mods from the Gun Runners, though it usually takes a good long time before I have a fully
modded rifle. I've been told to save my game, return to the main menu and reload my game to make the vendors
refresh their inventory. Haven't tried this yet though, so I'm not sure if it works.

Lovely any other suggestions would be appreciated though as it's getting frustrating trying to stay hidden while sniping targets

Use an Anti-material rifle.

Have one thanks but I want a sniper rifle with a silencer which you can't get with the AMR.

Buy something from the Trader (not sure if this is necessary or not) but do wait 73 hours (in front of them if you want) and their stock will reset. It may take a few times to get the mix that you want.

At the 188 post, you have to look for the Gun Runner Vendor under the Bridge, not the one on top of it. However I have not had a game where I did not have an oppurtunity to acquire a Silencer. In fact, I have 3 of them right now.

Dont' forget Mick and Ralphs and Sgt Contreras as possible sources for a Silencer.

there is a simple fix to this, fast travel to somewhere else, wait 3 days and go back to gunrunners, or trading post etc and if they don't have it still do it again, 2 or 3 times and they'll have one, you only need one silencer the entire game, i have an extra one even, but both gunrunners and the radiing do have em but not every time and its kinda like a roll of the dice so do what i said and you'll have a silencer.

Yep it svcks to do.. Especially if you are in hardcoe mode... But just wait it out and it will come. I didn't acquire it till like 23 but once I got it ohhhhhh man it was awesome
