Console for big pretty tv, 7.1 surround sound, gamepad, and comfy couch. The UI will probably be consolefied so i'd rather deal with it for hundreds of hours on the console.
If I could afford a new gaming PC and controller, I would buy it. But PC players are at a disadvantage, because most people build their own PCs (who arent experts) for gaming, so their graphic quality and performance are much different throughout the PC community.
Since when being able to fully customize a game' graphics/performance options in order to suit your system is a disadvantage?
I would like to say that I like to play video games on the pc, but I would like to thank all of the console players for buying bethesda's games.
If not for your support we probably wouldn't be getting the quality of game that we are. If we pc players were the only source of revenue there would be far less money to hire the team they have, nor the luxury of a five year development time.
I kind of lament the lack of graphical development because of the limits imposed by the hardware, but it also saves me trying to scraqe up a couple of hundred dollars at a time to upgrade video cards, The card I have now cost a whopping $60.00 has dx11 support and will run anything I have at highest settings. ( kind of chugs in the haven bench marks though)
HERE HERE !!! this has inspired me. i plan on hugging my less fortunate console player friends this weekend when i see them and thanking them for their purchases. we should all be appreciative of the simple folk from time to time.
Get it for whatever you want to. There are many and varied personal reasons for making the selection and the right answer for one may not be the right answer for all.
That said, I'm closing this as there are many elitist posts as well as the fact that these Vs threads don't ever go well and Console Vs PC go even worse.
