Alright, I can't believe that I can't figure this out.

Say you have a jar of powder, or a box of ammo. *How do you get the powder/ammo out of them?*

Yep it is dumb. I never figured it out and never paid any attention when I bought the primers and the powder for all the bullets I can make since I scraqed over 50 scrap iron into lead.

When I found them I figured there would be a basic recipe to break them up or just use them in the item screen. Didn't figure you would have to drop them and pick them up to use them. I just stopped getting them when I couldn't get it to work.

yea when i figured it out i was happy, since i bought 10 of them and that gave me 2500 surplus ammo. hence i never had to buy ammo for the 5.56mm guns after that.

I found a bunch of 5mm rounds that I never use and turned them all into primers and gun powder. Was able to make all the ammo I wanted for 5.56 with old shell casings after that. I'm always swimming in them.

Same here every time I go to a vendor if they got shell casings I take them from them and stock pile them for reloading. I like to convert all my 20ga shot shells into 20ga slugs by breaking the 20 ga shells down as well as the 12 ga shells and then build 20ga slugs. So far the hunting shotgun is the only one I have that uses 12 ga rounds and I a not too fond of that gun.
