I played myself into a corner here. To avoid losing an hour of play I need to add a programmers digest to my inventory using ~. Can anybody give me a hand?

Where are you stuck exactly? You can always go back to it later if you've leveled up or found a Programmer's Digest.

I'm on my 3rd play through and I'm on Black Mtn, I have not put many points in science but want to fix Mr Gutsy before I leave the supply shack.

Well you wouldn't get confronted by Tabhita, or however you spell her name, I believe so long as you don't either release Raul or fix / destroy Rwonda, the Gusty robot. You may want to save before going out if you're deciding not to use the console command and not fix it though; never know what may happen.

Up to you to decide. Personally, I would of just went back whenever my skill was high enough, like a lot of things that can be done in New Vegas. Just leave a quest until you either meet the skill requirement for it.

I'm not sure if Tabitha, or however you spell her name, will spawn everytime time or not but this go round I'm going to fix the gutsy and move on. I just forgot about the skill check and really want to finish this now.
