I sent my companion Rex to the Lucky 38 Casino because I didn't need him, but when I come back he isn't here. I even checked back with the King in Freeside and he isn't there. Do you think he is still traveling in the wasteland trying to get there. I've waited for him for so long to come back but he still hasn't. Has this happened to you? And have you solved the problem? Thanks in advance.

It's happened to tons of people with all companions. They're 'probably' somewhere heading to the Lucky 38. I sent Boone there but he wasn't there. I just moved on. An hour later I popped into Freeside and there he was strolling along headed for the strip.

How to fix it? Load an earlier save?

Try waiting a few days and a message should pop up (either that or he'll appear in the Lucky 38 without a message). If it pops up saying he died, well, you know what happened.

I'm currently experiencing that with Boone. I sent him to Lucky 38 so I could hang out with the Falcon Punch chick but I can't find him now. I went on to do other things including multiple Boomer quests and still no Boone. Oh well, he's bound to show up sooner or later.

But I'm not playing on hardcoe so he'll just go unconcious. I've been waiting for that to happen, but no luck.

If you have a high enough repair skill you can repair the elevator in vault 22 its glitched so if you go through the elevator you will get your companions back, Also check if there in the presidental suite.
