hardcoe options

There is nothing wrong with people wanting to role-play...but Skyrim will not be the game to role-play real life or anything similar to it.

And if you want something different in Skyrim, you can just download mods. Want hardcoe? Download the mod when it's made. Don't have a PC? You should get one. Skyrim on the PC is 1000x better than on a console.

If your attitude is "theres a mod for everything", why are you even on these forums? lol

and your first sentence is just stating the obvious. of course its not real life lol, its a fantasy game. but hardcoe mode brings us closer to real life (eating and drinking to live) and gives us more of a responsibility and challenge in game. What the hell is wrong with wanting more challenge? lol

These mods had better be there on day 1 and with zero flaws, if not then that is why I want these options in game...and finally we can agree on something, that is PC being better than anything else. Can't wait to build a whole new rig a couple weeks before skyrim comes out.

I played Oblivion on my non gaming pc, but i got it for PS3 because everything was already set up for me. I got my ps3 because its a gaming console. im no expert with PCs, and I dont have the money, but if I did, i would totally buy a PC and give it insane graphics. :P

Mods won't come in until the Skyrim Toolset is released (not sure if it comes out the same day as Skyrim). People also need time to make good mods. And mods probably won't be made until they finish the game. Then get prepared for a swarm of mods (1 mod every minutes).

Exactly my thoughts, I think some people like to argue because they think it's fun because honestly how could he argue about having an option, it's a healthy medium. It isn't in the game unless you want it problem solved wham bam!

Ah well it is completely understandable if you're young or you don't have a job because you just can't afford it and the upgrades you would like, not unless you had very giving parents or a family with a lot of money haha. That is a great attitude, get a great PC when you get the money, that is what everyone should do. That and learn how to put one together yourself

If all it would be is Fallout NV's hardcoe system then it shouldn't even be call hardcoe. It should be RPG mode or something. In Fallout, most of the food, and water sources were irradiated, thus making it more than just eat when hungry. Fallout didn't have magic for healing, so the added burden of healing wounds wouldn't really apply to Skyrim. Doesn't seem very "hardcoe" at all.

And remember...Fallout is not Skyrim. Fallout has guns and robots. Skyrim will have swords and magic.

RPG does not equal Life Simulator. I can play a role in a fantasy setting that isn't completely realistic.

but some hardcoe fans want that extra bit of difficulty

and to the above i say yes to all except the bathroom thing and possibly the perma death one
