Skyrim's gonna be a great game :) I'm sure of it, 5 years of development don't go for nothing like that. A big, definate NO.

Can't be worst than a compass with quest markers and marauders in full daedric armor.

Anyway, I loved Oblivion and I know I will love Skyrim.

Why in the hell would you compare it to ME2?? Totally different type of game. ME is a story based shooter with RPG elements; TES is a fantasy, sandbox RPG that focuses probably on exploration, presentation, things like that.

I agree, but for a different reason. EA seems to be suffocating every series in its pocket, so I'd consider this a different case.

kind of like Mass Effect 2

I thought Mass Effect 2 is an improvement over the first. It seems we like different flavors, so I guess that implies that I will find Skyrim enjoyable if it's as you expected.

I am at least slightly worried it's going to be dumbed down too much. I loved Morrowind (a little too much) and then Oblivion was great, but it took wasn't as life svcking. I mean I still spent 200 hours in it but Morrowind was better.
