Skyrim Realease party plans

Post » Fri Dec 03, 2010 4:54 pm

So, i was thinking back to when i first got home from picking up OB, i sat down, moved my couch in front of my tv, fired up my Xbox, and sat in anticipation as I passed the loading screens one by one. It was pretty awesome.

This year i was thinking, how to top that. Loads of hot wings, maybe some mood music. Perhaps invite a few friends over, hook up everyones Xbox, and enjoy the start of the game together.

I was wondering if anyone else was planning anything epic. :celebrate:

I'm going to the midnight launch first and foremost. Then i'll come home, fire up my PS3, and play all night long. I'm going to be taking that weekend off, so i'll be engrossed in Skyrim all weekend. I'll have my usual cold Mountain Dews, and some snacks. Hot wings sounds great!

I won't have time to entertain friends when Skyrim comes out. I just need coffee and some frozen pizza and my pc and no phone calls or visitors for a week or two.

Midnight launch, run home like a bat out of hell, play play play. Then die from overexposure to Bethesda's best work yet.

Well I wouldn't call them party plans but sure I'll have a few cold bottles Pepsi waiting in the fridge and lots of snacks for when I get home with Skyrim!

Parties? There is no time for parties! It's everyman for himself to get to our room, boot up the pc, start installing pray that installation doesn't last more than 15 min, arrange snacks and beverages, sit on comfy big beanbag with keyboard and mouse on hand, and then play till I feel like going to classes again, which should take about a month. The only party I'm having is playing the game alongside my friends (each playing in their rig of course), and from time to time show each other the cool weapon/dungeon/spell/shout/location/dragon that we've might find along the way.

I am going to be unable to participate, I'm afraid. Se?or Mankar Camoran will be to busy playing his Skyrim all night long. Btw, whats the best energy? Coffee, 5 Hour Energy or an energy drink? I don't want to be tired while I play Skyrim. :P
