small skyrim news and detail i have found

Braingasm and a half.

I will note, however, to somehow decipher this thread, that I've read in a few places that the people who got to sit down with Todd when he played through Skyrim also said that the AI was still very Oblivion-esque and such. For example, when Todd shot and killed a bandit with an arrow all sneaky-like, who was busy talking to someone, the NPC the bandit was talking to reacted by saying something like "What was that?" A few press articles talked about the AI still needing a lot of work. We'll see though.

Actually no one has said it is like oblivion because no one knows,.... and as for the sneak kill, if read correctly it could mean it works exactly right, I personally belive that was taken out of context by people who are always looking for proof of flaws. JMO

I think when some1 says I quote, they should actually quote lol JMO,.... most likely scenerio is this game is "sick " (as in good), and the A.I. is "stupid" (also meaning good in this sense), and the guy getting shot with arrow is you and your companion runs away to hide from arrows,..... this is how I am gonna perceive it till I read it myself !

JMO? Just My Opinion? Never heard that one before.

I think he's saying that if your companion gets shot by an arrow, your character runs behind a wall or something.

Or the exact opposite.

If you get shot by an arrow, whoever is fighting with you runs away.

No, I think what they mean is "If your friend gets shot be an arrow, you (A.K.A. Any given person) [should] run for cover. [but the character in the game did not]"

Like when an angry boss who you're talking smart to might say "When I tell you to shut up, you shut up!". He's not saying it's what youre doing, he's saying it's what you should be doing.

That makes sense. But we can only guess what he means.

Yep, I think I've read the article (or a few similar ones, I've read a half dozen or so walkthroughs of the Skyrim Demo that article is talking about). One article I read, the reporter opened by saying that he had two words written on a page of his notes from the demo that summed it up nicely, "HOLY CRAP!". All of the articles about the game said it was amazing, and the ONLY flaw they could point out was one little problem with the AI that will most likely be fixed. What they are talking about in your quotes, is when Todd shot a bandit with an arrow and killed him, and his friend who he was talking to said "I know I heard something" and started looking around, rather than running for cover and screaming. :P
