I think so. They look kinda short and/or stocky but that's probably just because the artist was focusing on the architecture rather than character design.
I took the distortion out. Looks better. http://www.shareapic.net/View-24985151-Skyrim.html
I know exactly what you mean OP. Whenever I play oblivion or morrowind one of the things I do when I adventure is pick up all the books I can find, and as many interesting trophies, as I can carry. Then when I finally get a house I like to just have my character sit back, relax and enjoy the fruits of his efforts.
I live in Oblivion a lot. I'm new to Morrowind and enjoy my visits there, but Oblivion (being my first ES game = nostalga goggles!) is where I live when I'm not in the "real world". So many hours of enjoyment which increased with the OOO and Lost Spires mods. Sometimes, I just go up on a hill in the Shivering Isles and stare the beautiful nightime sky.
Love getting lost in TES games. I would spend hours just roaming the forests and various POI. I would walk by the lake Rumare wishing I could fish it (looks like I'll finally get to do some fishing in skyrim). I would collect books and all the artifacts I could to populate my house (house mods are great, so many to choose from) with and just relax exploring my exploits. I can't wait for that feeling you get when you first load up a new TES game and this brand new world opens up to you, once you get out of jail of course.
Hello everyone. This is my first post here and I hope you all like me because it will defiantly not be my last. I have been an Elder Scrolls fan and player since Daggerfall. I have modding the game since Morrowind for personal enjoyment.
Lately, I have enjoyed Dragon Age: Origins (not 2) and The Witcher 2 (not 1) immensely. They both are great RPG games in every aspect except one...
I cannot live there.
This is why I still play Oblivion (mainly). I like to immerse myself into The Elder Scrolls lore. I like to walk to place to place instead of fast travel just so I can see something I have missed. I like to collect things to craft. I like hanging out in the middle of nowhere.
I am so excited about Skyrim I can barely contain myself. I hope that this will be the best Elder Scrolls yet and I hope that it is as open and free as previous titles. I also cannot wait to see what the modding community does with it.
Is anyone else not interested in “finishing” Skyrim, or are you like me and just want to “live” there?
Well... honestly... not really. So far I prefer Witcher 1 to Witcher 2 (though both are great games, and I'm not yet to Chapter 2 in W2). I never play RPG's to 'live' there, and greatly prefer third person RPGs that allow me see the character in their native surroundings. I'm just not into substitution play, where the player assumes the PC's place in the world, as though it were them there instead.
