How will the AI be?

I was just wondering if it will be better than tes4 because its just kind of annoying when you steal something in bruma, go to leyawin and a guard comes up like "arent you that guy that stole an apple on the other side of the country 30 seconds ago?". and will it be so that you can sell stolen items to any merchant instead of everyone somehow knowing that that was stolen. And this isnt really an issue at all but its just kind of wierd when you talk to someone and they sound one way, and you say "rumors" and their voice changes completely.

I think you should be able to sell an apple which you stole in Anvil to any merchant in Cheydinhal without any problems.

I think it'll be the best in the business by far. They planted the seeds over 6 years ago with Radiant AI and I believe Skyrim will feature Beth's original vision.

Morrowind's system made a lot of sense - not to be nostalgic, but they could pretty much copy/paste it. Basically, you kill someone on their own, you don't get arrested. If you steal from a vendor, you can sell it to anyone but the original owner. That's the best part :)

By original vision do you mean the AI in the famous E3 demo?

Reporting a crime when he "sees" you doing something unlawful is just basic game mechanics, not AI.

But there's a ton of room for improvement there off course. The crime&pentaly system in Oblivion was terrible.

Having several levels of crime instead of just a bounty that adds up would be a start.
This would allow NPC's to be more or less likely to ignore a crime, or try to resolve it without you getting a bounty.

I also hope you can have separate wanted levels in each county and that bounties for minor crimes may go away if you lay low for a while and just damage your reputation or something.
