It's not right to limit the folks with a high luck rating by having the casinos cut us off at varying amounts. If I chose to devote my SPECIAL points to luck then I don't think it's right to penalize me.

In short, make a perk or something that raises the gambling limits.

I fail to see what the penalty is. You won a ton of credits easily. That sounds like an outright boon.

You can probably make 40k from all the casinos in the game, plus one of them comps a valuable suit of armor.

Right now, on Xbox anyway, slot machines are bugged... I've only gotten x3 oranges and any cherries to pay off. As a result, I got 32000+ chips from each of the Tops, Gomorrah, and the Wrangler (AFAIK, Ultra-Luxe doesn't have slots). If you need more money than that, you're doing it wrong.

edit: Who comps armor? I don't think I got it even though I have the Courier who Broke the Bank achievement.

i wanted to do a high luck build, but i was not aware of gambling limits.. can someone elaborate on these limits?

You do well enough at casinos and they ban you from gambling further.

Each Casino has a threshold. If you go over it with winnings then you are banned from gambling in that Casino for the rest of the game. The limit varies sometimes. Your winnings and losses at a Casino are recorded throughout the game. So if you go into Casino X and win 1000 caps then go back later you will be told that are are +1000 at that Casino. If say for example you reach +4000 in one or several gambling sessions then you will be banned.

I would rather they add a currenct thats irthless, I pay say 500 caps for some different chips but these cant be cashed in, that way I can still gamble... I just want to gamble, its annoying, main location is just casinos, yet I cant gable, I dontcare about earning caps, I just want to use the casinos.

If you're still getting banned betting 1 chip every time then you might be gambling too much.

I want the caps. It's the way I choose to play the game. Much like someone who plays with a high Barter level. If they can get rich, why can't I use my gambling acumen to get rich?

Just wondering, say I got to, hmm, The Tops, and win 1000 caps at Black Jack. If I go back the next day, will it have reset, or if I win another 1000, will that bring it up to 2000? Get what I mean?

Considering irl I wouldnt gamble I dont think I need help. Its ok in gambe, mainly because fallout dosent have credit cards...
